A Food-design Metaphor/Analogy
Here is a dilemma: The good thing is: everyone has the experiences of learning: the life-long experience The bad thing is: we have not found the best way of educating people about learning. |
In order to solve this dilemma, I try to adopt the food-design metaphor: to see whether it would be more effective in helping people understand learning.
Food-design and learning-design share similarities: both are about ‘digesting’, ‘absorbing’, and ‘growing’.
Whether a food design/learning design is good (healthy, delicious) or not, not only depends on the food itself, but also on the person who eats.
