Analogy Design
Using analogies is one effective learning method.
Analogy, in broader term, is shared abstraction.
Analogy design is the systematic and recursive process of solving problems with analogies:
1. analyze the target problem,
2. identify and analyze sources,
3. abstract and synthesize patterns from sources,
4. apply patterns in solving target problems,
5. evaluate and refine the solutions.
Analogy design is an important part of learning design.
