B-learning apply criss-cross principles in the following ways
1. Why and What
For example, the users can come to B-learning for different purposes: they want to learn about learning theory, they want to design a learning solution, they want to review a learning theory, and they want to contribute to learning-economics etc.
2. Who (with how)
For example, the users can be researchers, designers, teachers, or students; student might wants to learn by different types of role-playing (learn by teaching; learn by designing) etc.
3. When (with who)
For example, the users might use B-learning when they are novice designers, JPF designers, and experts, etc.
4. Where (with how)
For example, the users might enter B-learning through the “semiotics channel”, the “design task” channel, or the “insert” channel
5. How
For example, the user might choose
to use various modes of learning etc.
